Solution Specialist - Business Planning

About the role

IFF, a global leader in flavors, fragrances, food ingredients and health & biosciences, is hiring a Solution Specialist Business Planning for its Digital Technology Solutions team, based in Chennai, India. The role creates and maintains the link between business needs and technology needs, driving implementation, alignment and execution in business planning.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage the project portfolio, keeping business requirements aligned with delivered solutions.
• Analyze, configure and support SAP IBP, SCM, ePPDS and connected processes (OtC, RtP, etc.), with working knowledge of CIDS, BW and Snowflake.
• Gather, document and maintain business requirements, design specifications, system configurations and test plans.
• Contribute to the design, development and delivery of new or improved system functionalities.
• Identify process improvement opportunities, recommend solutions and quantify business benefits.
• Lead initiatives to optimize business processes through integrated systems, and promote governance, best practices and stakeholder alignment.
• Provide second-level support to key users, resolve day-to-day issues and support user training and knowledge transfer.
• Build networks with key users and stakeholders across regions, business units, functions and sites.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in SAP IBP, SCM and related modules, including ATP, demand planning, supply planning and production planning.
• Strong understanding of S/4HANA and its integration with planning and supply chain processes.
• Experience leading projects through requirements, design, testing, deployment and post-implementation support, and managing project portfolios.
• Experience in global or international organizations and managing external vendors and virtual teams in a matrixed environment.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
