Software & Hardware Asset Management Specialist (Hybrid, Bangalore)

About the role

We are seeking a Software and Hardware Asset Management specialist to join a leading multinational corporation in Bangalore. The role focuses on managing the organization’s software inventory, ensuring compliance, and optimizing asset lifecycle across a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate software inventory across the organization.
• Manage and update Global Software Inventory (GSI) data in collaboration with internal teams.
• Coordinate with business and technical stakeholders to align asset strategies.
• Conduct audits and ensure license compliance.
• Track software usage, licenses, and lifecycle activities.
• Support governance, reporting, and audit readiness.
• Identify optimization and cost‑saving opportunities.

Required profile

• 4–8 years of experience in Software Asset Management (SAM) or IT Asset Management (ITAM).
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• Immediate availability – candidates with notice periods will not be considered.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with ServiceNow, Flexera, Snow, SCCM and Tanium.
• Strong understanding of software licensing models.
• Data analysis and stakeholder management capabilities.
