Software Engineering Lead - A&E

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineering Lead to drive the development of high‑quality software for education and electronic health record products. You will act as a subject‑matter expert, mentor a team of engineers, and ensure delivery of complex systems that meet modern clinical documentation needs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a dedicated team of Software Engineers, providing technical direction and mentorship.
• Write and review code for complex applications across multiple platforms.
• Define project plans, schedules, and development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
• Collaborate with internal and external resources to solve business challenges.
• Drive test‑driven development and ensure adherence to industry best practices.
• Design, optimize, and maintain complex data models and storage subsystems.

Required profile

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to lead and manage technical teams.
• Strong problem‑solving, organization, and change‑management skills.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional coordination.
