Software Engineer - Java Backend

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer specialized in Java backend development to design, implement, and maintain robust services that meet customer deployment environments. The role involves delivering high‑quality code, unit tests, and rapid fixes for reported issues while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of customer deployment environments and implement technical solutions with comprehensive unit tests.
• Own and drive resolution of customer‑reported product technical issues, delivering high‑quality defect fixes and new features.
• Collaborate with diverse teams to ensure timely release of product patches, hot‑fixes, and feature enhancements.
• Contribute to process‑improvement initiatives and communicate high‑impact product issues to development teams.
• Research, design, and implement new products or features with minimal supervision.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in Core Java and Spring Boot with solid Object‑Oriented programming knowledge.
• Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Experience with backend API development and Test‑Driven Development (TDD).
• Familiarity with enterprise requirements such as security, scalability, multi‑tenancy, high availability, and supportability (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, SaaS).
• Good grasp of version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience with Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Comfortable working in Agile development settings.
