About the role

Equifax is looking for a creative, high‑energy Software Engineer to join its engineering team. You will work on a variety of meaningful projects, applying modern development practices to build scalable, secure applications.

Key responsibilities

Develop, test, and deploy applications using Java, Python, and JavaScript.
Write unit tests, create technical documentation, and manage code deployments.
Diagnose and resolve performance issues and debug production incidents.
Participate in estimation, use‑case specification, test‑plan reviews, and project planning.
Design and operate high‑scale backend and UI components with a focus on security and scalability.
Apply serverless computing, micro‑services architecture, CI/CD, and infrastructure‑as‑code.
Integrate systems with internal platforms, Data Fabric, and CSA Toolset.
Contribute to technology roadmap and architecture discussions.
Work in an agile team, delivering sprint commitments and handling medium‑complexity problems.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
5+ years of software design and development experience.
Proficiency in Java, Python, and JavaScript.
Experience with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
2+ years of frontend development (HTML, CSS) and web technologies.
2+ years of software testing, performance, and quality engineering.
2+ years of cloud experience (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
