Software Engineer III, Mobile Development

About the role

JPMorgan Chase is looking for a senior mobile engineer to join the Wealth Management Business’s Self‑Directed Investing team. You will be a core technical contributor on an agile squad, building secure, high‑performance Android applications that power market‑leading investment products.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship native Android features end‑to‑end, from concept through production release.
• Integrate AI/ML‑powered components, ensuring performance, reliability, and a seamless user experience.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex mobile applications while adhering to security and scalability standards.
• Leverage enterprise‑approved AI‑assisted coding tools to accelerate development, generate tests, and improve code quality.
• Analyze large data sets to identify hidden issues and drive continuous improvement of code hygiene and system architecture.

Required profile

• Strong experience building native Android apps using Kotlin.
• Proficiency with modern mobile architectures such as MVVM, MVP, or MVC.
• Hands‑on experience with AI/ML integration on mobile platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate and validate AI‑generated code for correctness, performance, and security.
