Software Engineer III – Java Full‑Stack & React

About the role

JPMorgan Chase is looking for a Software Engineer III to join the Payments Technology team within Commercial & Investment Bank. You will work in an agile environment, designing and delivering secure, stable, and scalable technology products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, design, and troubleshoot full‑stack software solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and React.
• Write secure, high‑quality production code and maintain synchronous algorithms.
• Leverage enterprise‑approved AI coding‑assist tools to improve code quality, speed, and documentation.
• Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while ensuring design constraints are met.
• Gather, analyze, and visualize large data sets to drive continuous improvement of applications.
• Identify hidden problems in code and system architecture and propose enhancements.

Required profile

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
• At least 3 years of hands‑on experience in system design, development, testing, and operational stability.
• Experience working in a large corporate environment with modern programming languages and databases.
