Software Engineer III – Full Stack

About the role

Google Store is the first‑party e‑commerce platform for Google’s hardware portfolio. As a Software Engineer III – Full Stack you will build and maintain scalable services that power the store experience for millions of users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Write clean, production‑ready code for backend services (Java, Python, Golang, C++) and frontend interfaces (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS).
• Participate in design reviews, evaluate technology choices, and influence architecture decisions.
• Review peer code, enforce best practices, and ensure testability, performance, and security.
• Maintain documentation and educational content, updating it as product features evolve.
• Diagnose, triage, and resolve issues affecting hardware, network, or service operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of full‑stack development experience, or 1 year with an advanced degree.
• Strong foundation in data structures and algorithms.
• Demonstrated ability to work across the full software lifecycle in a fast‑moving environment.
