Software Engineer I – Front End Development (Angular)

About the role

Deloitte Digital is looking for a Software Engineer I to join its Digital Front End team. You will work on creating responsive, component‑based web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks and collaborate with creative and engineering teams to deliver innovative client solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Translate wireframes, mockups and requirements into clean, production‑ready code.
• Develop rich GUI websites that are responsive and work seamlessly across devices.
• Build and maintain component‑based architectures using frameworks such as Angular, Ember, React or Vue.
• Scaffold new web applications and configure server environments.
• Write unit and end‑to‑end tests following test‑driven development practices.
• Design and implement APIs in a server‑side language of choice.
• Understand and contribute to end‑to‑end application architecture.
• Modify server configurations and work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).

Required profile

• Ability to work independently and translate designs into functional code.
• Familiarity with design thinking principles and a habit of staying updated on technology trends.
• Experience with test‑driven development and a solid understanding of the Node.js ecosystem.
• Knowledge of both NoSQL and relational databases.
• Willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
