Software Engineer – Golang

About the role

CloudBees is looking for a motivated Software Engineer specialized in Golang to join its backend team. You will help build secure, scalable server‑side applications that power the company’s DevSecOps platform and enable developers to deliver software faster.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy high‑performance microservices using Golang.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to maintain high test coverage.
• Collaborate with product managers and cross‑functional engineers to prioritize work and shape product decisions.
• Document services, runbooks, and internal guides to promote self‑service and knowledge sharing.
• Mentor peers, foster psychological safety, and contribute to a culture of shared ownership.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong understanding of server‑side development concepts and best practices.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and tackle challenging problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Golang programming language and its ecosystem.
• Microservices architecture.
• DevOps tools and practices, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Cloud platforms, especially AWS.
• Database systems such as PostgreSQL or Cassandra.
• Experience with Large Language Models (LLM) for coding assistance.
