Software Engineer – Cloud & On-Prem Wireless Solutions

About the role

As a Software Engineer on the Cisco Wireless team, you will create and enhance the software that powers our cloud‑managed and on‑premise wireless devices, including controllers and access points. You will work with real‑time telemetry from global networks to continuously improve product performance and stability.

Key responsibilities

• Define, develop, validate, and automate new features for wireless network management.
• Collaborate with product managers, cross‑functional teams, and technical marketing engineers to deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Design and implement features on schedule while maintaining code quality and reliability.
• Utilize AI‑driven insights to enhance product functionality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of experience or a Master’s degree.
• Quick learner who can adapt to evolving technologies.
• Team player comfortable working in a collaborative environment.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and AI applications.
