Forward Deployed Engineer (Bengaluru)

About the role

As a Forward Deployed Engineer you will help enterprise customers deploy, configure and maximise the Ciroos AI SRE platform. The hybrid role blends customer implementation with production support, ensuring reliable environments and successful go‑lives.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end customer escalations, triage production issues, drive investigations and coordinate hand‑offs to engineering.
• Deploy and configure the Ciroos AI SRE teammate, design alert‑normalisation policies and build integrations with ServiceNow, Teams/Slack and observability tools.
• Maintain operational excellence through documentation, runbooks and collaboration with Engineering, Product and Customer Success.
• Support migrations, production go‑lives and platform optimisation, feeding field insights back to product teams.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of hands‑on experience in SRE, DevOps, Production Engineering or Technical Support with a focus on customer deployments and escalations.
• Strong troubleshooting mindset, able to debug distributed systems and automate tasks with code.
• Excellent documentation and collaboration skills, comfortable communicating across engineering and customer teams.

Required skills

• Python, Go or Java scripting.
• Kubernetes, AWS, Azure or GCP.
• CI/CD pipelines and observability platforms (Dynatrace, Datadog, Prometheus).
• REST APIs, webhooks, alert correlation, regular expressions.
• ITSM tools such as ServiceNow; integration with Microsoft Teams, Slack, GitHub, Confluence.
