Software Development Engineer (SDE 2) – Flutter

About the role

Slice is building a new generation of banking products in India and is looking for a Software Development Engineer (SDE‑2) to join its mobile engineering team. You will create high‑quality consumer‑facing experiences using the Flutter framework while collaborating with product, design and backend teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and ship consumer‑facing features for Android and iOS using Flutter.
• Build reusable Flutter components, libraries and shared modules to improve development efficiency across squads.
• Define and implement scalable mobile architectures, ensuring modularity, maintainability and testability.
• Work with QA and platform teams on CI/CD pipelines to deliver stable releases.
• Monitor live app performance, debug crashes, memory issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Participate in code reviews, share knowledge and mentor junior engineers.
• Evaluate and adopt new tools and libraries from the Flutter ecosystem.
