Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain large‑scale, multi‑tiered software applications that optimize order fulfillment.
• Interface with physical systems such as conveyors and robots.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to design, develop, and support reliable distributed services.
• Deliver automated solutions that directly impact Amazon’s top‑line performance.
• Influence subsystem design and promote best practices for high‑quality products.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving abilities and solid computer‑science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, OOP, databases).
• Ability to write Amazon‑quality code in an object‑oriented language (C, C++, or Java).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Adaptability to a fast‑paced development environment.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience with scalable systems.
• Full software development life‑cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, testing, and operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
