Software Development Engineer 3 – Android (Kotlin/Java)

About the role

Adobe Express’s Mobile team is seeking an energetic Android engineer to shape the next generation of imaging experiences across mobile and web. You will work on the Adobe Express product, contributing to both native Android and web‑based features.

Key responsibilities

• Design and architect new components and features for the Android app.
• Collaborate with architects, product managers and other engineering teams to define technical vision and roadmap.
• Develop, test, automate and deliver end‑to‑end features, including bug fixes.
• Maintain app infrastructure, integrate SDKs and keep third‑party libraries up to date.
• Ensure code is reliable, maintainable, secure and performant.

Required profile

• B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science from a recognized institute.
• 4–7 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong computer‑science fundamentals and algorithmic design skills.
• Proficiency in Java, Kotlin and Android development.
• Experience with front‑end web technologies is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI coding assistants such as Cursor or Claude.
