Software Development Engineer 2 (Full Stack Java)

About the role

We are seeking a Full Stack Java Developer who enjoys building reliable, scalable applications across both backend and frontend systems. You will work on well‑defined problems, contribute to meaningful features, and collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to improve the customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java applications using Spring Boot or similar frameworks.
• Build modern user interfaces with JavaScript, HTML, CSS and a framework such as React, Angular or Vue.
• Create and consume REST APIs, integrate with databases (SQL or NoSQL), and ensure performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot issues, fix bugs, and support production incidents.
• Write clean, testable code, conduct code reviews, and contribute to component‑level design.
• Deploy, validate, and monitor services following CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Leverage AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT) to write, test, and debug code more efficiently.
• Explore AI‑driven workflow improvements and automation opportunities.

Required profile

• Solid experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Proficiency in building RESTful services and backend APIs.
• Strong programming fundamentals and problem‑solving skills.
• Hands‑on experience with modern frontend technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and at least one framework (React, Angular, Vue).
• Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL databases and basic cloud deployment concepts.
• Experience using AI‑powered coding assistants and interest in applying AI to development workflows.
• Knowledge of test automation, debugging, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and secure coding practices.
