Software Developer – PHP, Drupal & WordPress

About the role

Etech Global Services is seeking a passionate Software Developer to join its hybrid team in Gujarat. You will work on PHP‑based web applications, customize Drupal sites, and build WordPress solutions for leading brands.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain web applications using Core PHP.
• Create and enhance Drupal themes and modules.
• Design and develop custom WordPress themes and plugins, and extend existing ones.
• Build responsive sites with Elementor and WPBakery.
• Optimize performance, Core Web Vitals, and SEO.
• Implement security best practices for WordPress and Drupal.
• Write clean, reusable, and well‑documented code.
• Design and tune MySQL database structures and queries.
• Integrate third‑party APIs, payment gateways, and external services.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA, and project managers.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure coding standards.
• Deploy and maintain applications on Linux/Ubuntu servers and manage hosting panels such as cPanel, Plesk, DirectAdmin, or CyberPanel.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in PHP web development, Drupal customization, and WordPress development.
• Ability to handle the full software development life‑cycle from requirements to deployment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
