Software Architecture & Automation Engineer

About the role

Bosch Global Software Technologies is seeking an experienced Software Architecture and Automation Engineer to lead the design and implementation of release automation frameworks for embedded software products. You will work within a high‑performing team to translate complex requirements into robust, maintainable system designs.

Key responsibilities

• Define and document systematic architectural designs using models such as C4, focusing on reliability and usability.
• Develop and maintain Python‑based automation tools, API integrations, and CLI utilities.
• Design and implement release automation pipelines, including versioning (Conventional Commits), changelog generation, and quality gate promotion.
• Integrate CI/CD workflows with Docker, Kubernetes, Artifactory and Infrastructure‑as‑Code APIs.
• Collaborate with embedded Linux development teams to ensure tooling aligns with end‑user contexts.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of professional experience in software architecture, automation, or related fields.
• Degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering (B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech) or equivalent.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate requirements into actionable designs.

• Python 3.x (Poetry, Pytest, Pylint/Flake8, Typer)
