Software Architect – Automotive (Airbag)

About the role

Bosch Global Software Technologies is seeking an experienced Software Architect to lead the design and development of airbag control software. You will work within a cross‑functional team to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with automotive standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform requirements engineering, develop and review High‑Level and Low‑Level Designs.
• Review system and software test specifications and ensure compliance with dependability requirements.
• Communicate architecture decisions to stakeholders and support architecture reviews for reliability, maintainability, and robustness.
• Participate in change request estimation, moderate Change Control Board meetings, and define impacted software components and test scope.
• Mentor software leads, engineers, and test teams, and drive complex debugging and root‑cause analysis.
• Define, implement, and verify safety‑related software requirements and ensure adherence to automotive quality processes.

Required profile

• 10–15 years of relevant experience in embedded automotive software development.
• Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring abilities.
• Ability to work independently and within cross‑functional teams.
• Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
