SOC Analyst – 24x7 Monitoring

About the role

The SOC Analyst will work 24x7 to monitor the organization’s networks and systems for suspicious activity. The role involves analysing logs, alerts and other data to detect potential security breaches and respond promptly.

Key responsibilities

• Continuously monitor networks, servers and security devices for anomalies.
• Analyse logs, alerts and other security data to identify threats.
• Evaluate the severity of detected incidents using SIEM tools.
• Investigate incidents to determine attack vectors, impacted assets and potential impact.
• Participate in incident response, containing and remediating security events.
• Conduct threat analysis and contribute to threat intelligence activities.
• Apply knowledge of threat hunting techniques to proactively search for hidden threats.
• Maintain and tune monitoring rules and alerts.
• Document incidents and produce post‑incident reports.
• Collaborate with other security teams to improve detection capabilities.

Required profile

Required skills

• Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms.
• Knowledge of threat hunting and threat intelligence concepts.
