Skywise Foundry Developer

About the role

Airbus is seeking passionate software engineers to join its Skywise team in Bangalore. You will work on end‑to‑end data‑value chain solutions, building and scaling applications that enable data‑driven decision making across the aerospace business.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build data‑engineering, integration, analysis and visualization solutions on the Palantir Foundry platform.
• Collaborate with product owners and business functions to capture requirements and deliver data‑centric applications.
• Own the full delivery lifecycle: design, implement, test, document and support applications.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments across development, QA and production environments.
• Troubleshoot issues, handle incidents and provide ongoing support for the tools you create.

Required profile

• Graduate or postgraduate degree in Information Technology or related field with 1‑5 years of software development experience.
• Strong understanding of software design concepts, REST APIs and big‑data architectures.
• Proven ability to build and maintain scalable applications end‑to‑end.
• Experience with full‑stack development: backend (PySpark) and front‑end (JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban) and test‑driven development.

Required skills

• Python, PySpark, SQL, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML & CSS.
• Cloud platforms (AWS) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Version control and collaboration tools: GitHub, Artifactory, Jira, Confluence.
• Palantir Foundry / Skywise components: Code repository, data lineage, pipeline builder, Ontology Manager, Slate, Workshop.
