About the role

Elephanto is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join its Chennai team. This full-time, on-site position involves turning design concepts into high-quality wooden structures and fixtures, supporting the company’s mission to create customized spaces.

Key responsibilities

• Construct, install, and repair wooden and mixed-material structures using hand and power tools.
• Perform framing, finish carpentry, and detailed joinery in line with project drawings.
• Operate woodworking machinery safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with designers and other tradespeople to ensure specifications are met.
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite, adhering to safety standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in carpentry and finish carpentry.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions.
• Physical stamina for extended on-site work.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Vocational training or prior roles in carpentry.
