Site Manager – Mining Operations

About the role

EPIROC is seeking a Site Manager for the Kayad Mines operation in India. The role is responsible for overseeing the execution of the EPIROC India contract, ensuring high‑quality service delivery, safety, and compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing the EPIROC India contract and ensure first‑class service delivery.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to guarantee effective contract execution.
• Enforce EPIROC policies, maintain high ethical standards, and promote a strong safety, health, and environmental culture.
• Develop and manage the workforce from hire to retire, ensuring competence and compliance.
• Monitor contract performance, identify risks and opportunities, and implement mitigation actions.
• Drive asset optimization and eliminate wasteful practices.
• Oversee preventive maintenance compliance, backlog execution, oil‑analysis actions, and equipment performance metrics such as availability, MTTR, MTBF, and meters drilled.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing mining or industrial maintenance contracts.
• Strong leadership with a focus on safety, ethics, and people development.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical skills to assess performance data and drive improvements.
