Site Engineer – Steel Structure / PEB

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Site Engineer to supervise the erection of steel structures and pre‑engineered buildings (PEB) on construction sites. You will ensure that all installation work follows approved drawings, safety standards, and project schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise steel structure and PEB erection activities on site.
• Verify that erection and installation match approved drawings.
• Monitor the installation of columns, rafters, purlins, bracing, roofing and cladding.
• Coordinate manpower, material and equipment on site.
• Liaise with fabrication teams, contractors, vendors and clients.
• Prepare daily site progress reports.
• Conduct material inspections, measurements and quality checks.
• Check anchor bolts, base plates, alignment, level and structural connections.
• Enforce safety rules and PPE compliance.
• Deliver the project on schedule and to required quality standards.

Required profile

• Diploma, BE or B.Tech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• 1–5 years of experience in steel structure or PEB erection.
• Willingness to work on site and travel as needed.

Required skills

• Ability to read and interpret structural/PEB drawings.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Practical experience in steel fabrication and erection (preferred).
