Senior Plumbing Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Plumbing Engineer to lead the design, installation, operation and maintenance of plumbing systems for Ambience Creacions. The role involves ensuring safety, reliability and efficiency of water supply, drainage, sewage and related MEP services across large commercial and residential facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all plumbing installations, maintenance activities and preventive programs.
• Monitor domestic water supply, drainage, sewage, storm‑water and related systems, conducting regular inspections.
• Identify faults, troubleshoot and coordinate timely repairs with maintenance teams, contractors and vendors.
• Review plumbing drawings, layouts and technical specifications to ensure compliance with approved designs.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance, breakdowns, inspections and preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes and company procedures.
• Coordinate with other MEP disciplines – Electrical, HVAC, Fire Fighting and Civil – for integrated operations.
• Support procurement of plumbing materials and equipment by checking material requirements.
• Handle emergency breakdowns to minimise disruption to occupants and prepare regular reports on consumption and ongoing works.

Required profile

• Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical, Civil or related engineering discipline.
• 4‑6 years of hands‑on experience in plumbing/MEP operations and maintenance, preferably in large commercial, residential or hotel facilities.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, pumps, water supply, drainage, sewage and STP‑related equipment.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage contractors and ensure safety compliance.
