Site Engineer – Building Construction

About the role

Nidhi Land Infrastructure Developers India (P) Ltd. is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to supervise and manage day‑to‑day execution of its building construction projects in Mangalore. The role requires strong practical experience in residential or commercial construction and familiarity with local construction practices, materials, labour management and execution techniques.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily construction activities on site.
• Execute work according to approved architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
• Ensure compliance with specifications, quality standards and project schedules.
• Plan and coordinate daily and weekly site activities.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams.
• Check line, level, dimensions, reinforcement, shuttering and other details before and during execution.
• Supervise civil works including excavation, foundations, RCC, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, flooring and finishing.
• Inspect reinforcement, formwork and embedded items before concrete pours.
• Monitor concreting activities, placement, compaction, curing and quality control.
• Maintain daily progress, labour and material records and other site documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer in residential or commercial building projects.
• Familiarity with local construction practices, materials and labour management.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
• Strong coordination skills with consultants, subcontractors and internal departments.
• Commitment to safety standards and quality assurance on site.
