About the role
We are looking for a Shop Floor Technician to join our Chennai facility. The role involves keeping warehouse and service areas clean, safe and well‑maintained, supporting our logistics operations.
Key responsibilities
- Clean and maintain floor and carpeted areas, including sweeping, mopping and vacuuming.
- Apply wax and other floor‑care treatments to protect surfaces.
- Handle waste, perform surface sanitation and routine housekeeping according to company standards.
- Inspect work zones, report maintenance or safety concerns and follow scheduled cleaning plans.
- Coordinate with supervisors and colleagues to minimise disruption to logistics activities.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and follow written procedures and safety guidelines.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and operate cleaning equipment.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety and PPE requirements.
