Shift Security Officer – Plant Security

About the role

The Shift Security Officer ensures the safety of personnel, assets, and operations at Hindalco Alupuram Works, a large aluminium extrusion manufacturing complex. Working in a 24 × 7 environment, you will be responsible for maintaining strict access control, monitoring material movement, and supporting emergency response across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Safeguard men, materials, machinery, and property in a high‑value, continuous‑manufacturing setting.
• Enforce access control and documentation at all entry and exit points for employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors.
• Monitor vehicle logistics, scrap disposal, and finished‑goods dispatch to prevent financial loss or safety incidents.
• Support emergency preparedness and response for fire, medical, natural‑calamity, and external‑threat situations.
• Coordinate closely with Factory Management, Safety Department, Police, and Fire Services.
• Work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, while maintaining high alertness and discipline.
