Shift Leader – Production

About the role

ABB is looking for a Shift Leader to manage a production line within its Motion business, IEC Low Voltage Division, in Faridabad, India. You will be responsible for ensuring that manufacturing processes run smoothly, safely and on schedule while delivering high‑quality products.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team on a production unit or line to meet daily volume and schedule targets.
• Allocate resources, organise work and monitor performance to achieve cost‑effective production.
• Ensure compliance with procedures, drawings, quality, safety standards and company policies.
• Recommend and drive equipment or facility improvements.
• Identify production deficiencies, propose corrective actions and oversee their implementation.
• Coordinate resolution of critical product or equipment issues with internal teams.

Required profile

• 7‑12 years of experience in production activities for rotating field equipment.
• B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
• Proven ability to guide, coach and develop high‑performing teams.
• Responsibility for health and safety of employees and contractors.
