About the role
The Shade Matching Lab Technician is responsible for ensuring accurate colour formulation and consistency across PVC, EVA and other plastic materials. Working in a laboratory environment, you will develop and test pigments and dyes to meet product specifications.
Key responsibilities
- Perform shade matching for PVC, EVA and various plastics using pigments and dyes.
- Develop new colour formulations and adjust existing ones to achieve target specifications.
- Conduct laboratory tests to verify colour stability, consistency and compliance.
- Document test results and maintain colour libraries for future reference.
Required profile
- Proven experience in shade matching and colour development for plastic materials.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precise colour standards.
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting laboratory data.
