SEO Analyst (E-commerce | Shopify Focus)

About the role

We are looking for an SEO Analyst who will drive organic growth for multiple Shopify‑based e‑commerce sites across different geographies. You will own the full SEO lifecycle, from strategy and keyword research to technical optimisation and performance tracking, ensuring our brands stay visible on Google and emerging AI‑driven search platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Own SEO performance for several geo‑targeted Shopify websites.
• Develop and execute a content strategy and SEO roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Conduct in‑depth keyword research using Ahrefs, SEMrush or similar tools.
• Create detailed content briefs, outlines, and wireframes for service pages, blogs, and landing pages.
• Build and implement organic backlink campaigns with high‑authority domains.
• Improve brand visibility on traditional search engines and AI‑driven discovery platforms.
• Track SEO metrics using Google Search Console and Google Analytics (GA4).
• Optimise Shopify product pages, collections, metadata, and site structure.
• Maintain a strong internal linking strategy and optimise anchor text.
• Identify technical SEO issues (crawlability, indexing, duplicate content, artificial links) and coordinate fixes with developers.
• Monitor competitor performance and adapt strategies based on SERP changes.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of SEO experience, preferably in e‑commerce.
• Hands‑on experience with Shopify SEO.
• Proven ability to develop and execute content and backlink strategies.
• Strong analytical mindset with a data‑driven approach.
