Senior US Tax Advisory Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned US Tax Advisory professional to join our team in Gurgaon/Hyderabad. The role focuses on delivering strategic tax advice to large corporates and multinational clients, helping them navigate complex US tax landscapes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑to‑end US tax advisory services across industries.
• Act as a trusted advisor to CFOs, tax heads, and senior stakeholders on tax structuring and planning.
• Advise on US tax implications of cross‑border transactions, restructurings, and expansions.
• Interpret and apply US tax laws, regulations, and treaty provisions to real‑world business cases.
• Lead and manage client engagements independently, ensuring high‑quality delivery.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, and global teams to drive solutions.
• Support tax risk management, controversy handling, and audit readiness.
• Stay updated on US tax reforms and proactively advise clients.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to practice knowledge.

Required profile

• 10+ years of US tax experience with a strong advisory focus.
• Proven experience working directly with corporate or MNC clients.
• Strong knowledge of US corporate tax, international tax concepts (BEPS, transfer pricing basics, cross‑border structuring) and tax implications of M&A.
• Ability to handle complex advisory engagements independently.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Experience in a client‑facing consulting or Big 4 environment is highly preferred.
• Relevant qualifications such as CPA, CA, EA or MBA (Finance) are an advantage.
