Senior System Administrator

About the role

TekWissen Group is seeking an experienced Senior System Administrator to join its IT infrastructure team in Visakhapatnam. This is a full‑time, night‑shift (6:30 PM – 3:30 AM) position responsible for maintaining the stability, security, and performance of the company’s technology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Windows Server and Active Directory environments.
• Administer Microsoft 365/Office 365 services and Azure AD/Entra ID.
• Configure and monitor LAN/WAN networks, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching.
• Maintain enterprise firewalls, VPNs, Wi‑Fi/Wireless APs, and overall network security.
• Deploy and manage virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper‑V.
• Oversee backup, disaster recovery, and endpoint security solutions.
• Lead incident management, root‑cause analysis, and compliance with ISO and other IT frameworks.
• Coordinate with vendors, MSPs, and internal teams to ensure service continuity.

Required profile

• 8–12 years of hands‑on experience in system administration and IT infrastructure.
• Proven leadership ability to guide and mentor technical staff.
• Strong decision‑making and problem‑solving skills under pressure.
• Excellent communication with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently during night shifts and manage critical incidents.
