Senior Style Associate – Retail Sales Leader

About the role

The Senior Style Associate leads by example in a high‑traffic retail environment, delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving sales, and ensuring operational excellence. This role reports to the Store Manager and acts as a key point of contact for both customers and the store team.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships by understanding preferences and providing tailored solutions.
• Address customer issues professionally, gather feedback, and use insights to improve products and services.
• Achieve store sales targets through solution‑based selling, upselling, and cross‑selling higher‑value items.
• Adapt to changing customer needs, share product insights with the team, and demonstrate problem‑solving agility.
• Make sound operational decisions using analytical thinking and manage store operations in the Store Manager’s absence.
• Prevent shrinkage by monitoring inventory, assisting with replenishment, stock‑takes, and product turnover tracking.
• Enforce company policies, SOPs, and escalate bottlenecks or escalated customer issues.
• Lead, mentor, and train team members, fostering accountability, ethical practices, and goal‑driven performance.

Required profile

• Minimum HSC or graduate qualification with at least 2 years of retail experience.
• Age between 20 and 35 years.
• Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to build lasting relationships.
• Experience in mentoring team members and handling cash transactions and inventory management.

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency and Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency with POS systems and other retail technologies.
