Senior Specialist, Data Analysis

About the role

Join a global biopharma leader as a Senior Specialist in Data Analysis, based at the Hyderabad Tech Center. The role follows a hybrid model (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) and supports a technology‑driven, data‑led organization that delivers medicines, vaccines and animal health products.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and validate data from multiple sources, write SQL queries for extraction, reconciliation and defect analysis.
• Partner with Business Analysts and Product Managers to translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria and test scenarios.
• Coordinate functional testing and UAT, manage defect clarification, retesting and business sign‑off.
• Act as Scrum Master for one or two Agile squads, facilitating ceremonies, backlog readiness and impediment removal.
• Track sprint progress, risks and dependencies, providing concise updates to stakeholders.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in data analysis, functional analysis and functional testing.
• Proven experience writing complex SQL queries for data validation and root‑cause analysis.
• Hands‑on experience supporting UAT planning, execution and sign‑off.
• Demonstrated Scrum Master responsibilities for Agile squads, preferably with a Scrum certification.
• Strong stakeholder management and clear communication skills across global matrix teams.
