Senior Specialist, Cybersecurity Engineering

About the role

Join a global healthcare biopharma leader as a Senior Specialist in Cybersecurity Engineering, based in Hyderabad. You will work within a Tier 3 Directory Services team, supporting complex Active Directory and Entra ID environments while ensuring security, compliance, and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Tier 3 engineering support for multiple Active Directory forests and domains, implementing hardening and tiered security concepts.
• Design, configure, troubleshoot, and administer Microsoft AD DS, Entra ID, DNS, PKI, GPOs, IPSEC, and related core services.
• Implement cloud identity solutions such as Entra ID security services (PIM, Password Protection, CAP, Identity Protection) and integrate with Microsoft O365 and AWS identity services.
• Develop PowerShell automation scripts for large‑scale environments and cloud connectivity.
• Utilize Quest Active Roles and other support tools to manage permissions and directory synchronization.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience managing enterprise‑scale Active Directory and Entra ID environments.
• MSc or BSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
• Proven ability to design and implement secure, large‑scale solutions and to respond to real‑time security events.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
