Senior Specialist Cyber Security - Vulnerability Management AI

About the role

The Senior Specialist Cyber Security supports AI-enabled vulnerability management for AT&T India. The team member works with the US and India Cyber Security teams to develop, implement and operationalize AI-enabled vulnerability management capabilities in Application Security and Infrastructure Security within a DevSecOps framework. The role is based in Bengaluru (Hyderabad is also listed).

Key responsibilities

• Develop next-generation AI capabilities for detection, analysis, mitigation and response.
• Work directly with Engineering and Operations teams (incident response, security engineering, cloud security, insider threat, etc.) to speed delivery.
• Collaborate with other Cyber teams, Policy & Compliance and Tech Risk to ensure alignment, scalability and governance of solutions.
• Break down complex problems and unblock execution at critical moments.
• Serve as a technical and strategic sounding board across the organization.
• Bridge innovation and operationalization so capabilities are production-ready and adopted at scale.

Required profile

• At least 8+ years of experience in security engineering for application and infrastructure vulnerability management.
• 6+ years of application and infrastructure penetration testing.
• 2+ years assessing complex systems with AI / ML / Data Science capabilities and services.
• Experience deploying and operating tools and processes to analyze security threats and vulnerabilities in DevSecOps.
• Incident management experience.
• Ability to design strategies against AI system cyber attacks and adversarial test plans.
• Willingness to cover US morning hours on a need-basis.

Required skills

• Awareness of AI-driven risks such as adversarial ML, data poisoning and model hallucination, and their mitigation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Desirable: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, mathematics, information systems, engineering or cybersecurity; CISSP, SANS or similar certifications; knowledge of LLMs, prompt engineering or AI governance frameworks such as NIST AI RMF and EU AI Act readiness.
