Senior Software Engineer - Risk

About the role

You will architect and build next‑generation risk solutions for FalconX and its institutional clients, helping them navigate the complex digital‑asset market. The role combines high‑performance engineering with deep financial‑risk expertise to deliver reliable, scalable tools.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance FalconX’s proprietary risk management tools, infrastructure, data, and processes.
• Architect and build scalable, robust, high‑performance risk solutions for institutional customers and internal teams.
• Collaborate closely with risk team members to improve the risk management stack.
• Coach and mentor teammates on supporting and maintaining risk solutions.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, EE, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or equivalent.
• At least 4 years of professional experience in a quantitative risk role.
• Experience in risk management within a trading environment such as a hedge fund or bank.
• Knowledge of a range of financial products and derivatives asset classes.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset with proactive ownership.
