Senior SOC L3 Analyst – Cybersecurity (Part‑time)

About the role

Bosch is looking for a highly experienced Level 3 SOC Analyst to strengthen its Cybersecurity team in Bangalore. The role will lead complex incident response activities, conduct advanced malware analysis and digital forensics, and mentor junior analysts while continuously improving the security operations platform.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end handling of sophisticated cyber incidents, including ransomware response and forensic investigations across production and IT environments.
• Develop, maintain and tune cloud‑native SIEM rules, alerts and dashboards on AWS GuardDuty, Azure Sentinel and GCP.
• Create and execute incident response playbooks, runbooks and SOAR automation for rapid remediation.
• Perform proactive threat hunting using threat intelligence and TTPs.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to coordinate response actions and provide technical evidence for audits.

Required profile

• 10+ years of progressive cybersecurity experience, with at least 5 years as a Level 3 SOC Analyst or Incident Response Lead.
• Proven track record in digital forensics, malware analysis and handling complex cyber‑attacks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to mentor junior analysts.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with cloud‑native SIEM platforms (AWS GuardDuty, Azure Sentinel, GCP) and traditional SIEMs such as Splunk.
• Scripting/automation using PowerShell and Python.
• Proficiency with EDR solutions, Microsoft Defender, forensic tools, and SOAR platforms.
• Knowledge of application security tools (Metasploit, Kali Linux, Mimikatz) and vulnerability management.
