Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

About the role

Mastercard’s Business Operations team is looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the stability, scalability, and performance of critical platforms that support global payment services. You will work closely with developers to embed reliability practices early in the software lifecycle and help create a culture of proactive operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain production readiness and health of Mastercard’s core products.
• Collaborate with development teams to design operationally sound architectures.
• Automate monitoring, alerting, capacity planning, and incident response processes.
• Lead root‑cause analysis, blameless post‑mortems, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Enforce operational standards while supporting an agile, learning‑focused environment.
