IT Support Specialist – Chennai

About the role

We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our Chennai team. The role involves Tier 1/2 support, handling user tickets, and providing first‑level troubleshooting for hardware, software and network issues. You will work on‑premise, supporting Windows 11, Microsoft 365 and corporate Exchange environments.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to incidents and service requests via phone, email and ticketing system, performing detailed troubleshooting and documentation.
• Provide end‑user training on hardware functionality and software applications.
• Administer user accounts in Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange.
• Support on‑premise conferencing equipment and Cisco Finesse operations.
• Monitor system performance, run diagnostic tests and maintain security updates.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a large enterprise technical support environment.
• Self‑motivated, strong initiative, integrity and a team‑player attitude.
• Excellent communication skills and customer‑service orientation.

Required skills

• Windows 11 troubleshooting.
• Microsoft O365 and Exchange administration.
• Active Directory user management.
• Cisco Finesse and SCCM operations.
• Advanced networking and troubleshooting.
• Industry certifications such as A+, Network+, Security+, MCSE or MCP (preferred).
