Senior Site Reliability Engineer / Cloud Platform Engineer

About the role

Skyflow is looking for a senior platform engineer to design, build and operate the infrastructure behind its multi‑tenant, security‑sensitive B2B cloud product. The role combines hands‑on development in Go and Python with deep operational ownership, including on‑call and incident response.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end automation for provisioning, upgrading, scaling and decommissioning cloud environments across AWS and GCP.
• Develop production‑grade Go and Python services and internal CLIs that expose self‑service platform capabilities to engineering teams.
• Own and evolve the Infrastructure‑as‑Code stack (Terraform/OpenTofu, Helm, ArgoCD) and drive fleet‑wide migrations with minimal customer impact.
• Operate and scale core platform services such as Kubernetes clusters, Istio service mesh, Aerospike, PostgreSQL, Kafka and GPU‑backed inference workloads.
• Build observability, alerting and synthetic monitoring to detect failures early and automate remediation.
• Participate in on‑call rotation, lead incident response and produce root‑cause analyses with concrete corrective actions.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in platform, infrastructure, DevOps or SRE roles with full ownership of production cloud systems.
• Strong software engineering skills in Go and/or Python, writing tested and maintainable code.
• Deep hands‑on experience with Kubernetes in production and IaC tools such as Terraform, Pulumi or OpenTofu.
• Experience with at least one major public cloud (AWS, GCP or Azure); multi‑cloud experience is a plus.
• Proven track record of building internal CLIs, provisioning frameworks or automation pipelines used by other engineers.
