Senior Service Engineer – Field Service (Ahmedabad)

About the role

Videojet is seeking a Senior Service Engineer to provide on‑site technical support for its printing, coding and marking solutions across the Ahmedabad/Sanand region. You will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring equipment reliability and driving service revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve customer equipment breakdowns within the assigned territory.
• Install, commission and maintain Videojet equipment at customer sites.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and document activities.
• Diagnose technical issues, propose corrective actions and manage spare‑part requests.
• Prepare and update service reports in Oracle.
• Promote service contracts, consumables and identify upgrade or replacement opportunities.
• Conduct product demonstrations and provide operator‑level training.
• Generate service leads for the sales team.

Required profile

• Diploma or engineering degree.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in field or technical service roles.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication and customer‑handling skills.
