Senior SAP BTP CAPM Developer

About the role

KPMG India is looking for an experienced Senior SAP BTP CAPM Developer to design, build, and deploy cloud‑native applications on the SAP Business Technology Platform. You will work closely with functional teams and architects to deliver seamless integrations between SAP and non‑SAP systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop applications using SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) on SAP BTP.
• Build and enhance Fiori/UI5 front‑ends following modern UI/UX standards.
• Develop backend services with Node.js or Java, focusing on TypeScript/JavaScript (ES6+).
• Create OData V2/V4 services, REST APIs, and event‑driven architectures.
• Integrate solutions with SAP S/4HANA, third‑party systems, and cloud services.
• Utilize SAP BTP services such as Destination Service, XSUAA, and Cloud Foundry environment.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and security best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.

Required profile

• 4+ years of hands‑on SAP development experience.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an Agile environment.
