Senior Quantity Surveyor

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor with deep expertise in precast concrete projects to lead cost planning, tendering, and commercial management across multiple construction sites and factories. The role involves close collaboration with design, procurement, and project teams to ensure financial performance aligns with client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities, cost estimates and budgets for precast elements such as hollow core slabs, walls, columns, beams and boundary systems.
• Develop and maintain precast‑specific rate libraries and productivity benchmarks for accurate costing.
• Lead tender preparation, commercial bid submission and contract negotiation with clients and subcontractors.
• Track project costs against approved budgets, produce monthly cost reports, earned value analyses and cash‑flow forecasts.
• Manage invoicing, progress billing, variation orders and contractual claims, ensuring timely approvals.
• Maintain a vetted vendor and subcontractor database, evaluate quotations and coordinate procurement to avoid cost overruns.
• Keep comprehensive commercial records audit‑ready and provide cost dashboards for senior leadership.

Required profile

• 5–6 years of quantity surveying experience in civil/structural construction.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on QS experience on precast concrete projects.
• Proven track record in cost planning, tendering, contract management and cost control.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret design, shop drawings and structural layouts.
