Senior Quality Engineer (SDET)

About the role

Endor Labs is building an application security platform and seeks a senior quality engineer to own end‑to‑end quality for its products. You will combine deep automation expertise with a security‑first mindset to ensure reliable, scalable releases.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and suites.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and drive shift‑left testing.
• Perform deep manual and exploratory testing for complex security use cases.
• Collaborate with engineering, product and DevOps to define acceptance criteria and quality benchmarks.
• Identify, debug and root‑cause issues using logs, metrics and observability tools.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of software engineering or QA experience with both manual and automation testing.
• Strong security or cybersecurity interest and ability to work in fast‑paced engineering environment.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.

Required skills

• Programming in Java, Python or Go.
• Test frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, Pytest.
• CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and version control (Git).
• Build/package tools (Maven, npm, pip).
• REST API testing with Postman.
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Observability tools (Splunk, Kibana).
• Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude).
