Senior QA Tester – EMR/EHR Systems

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Tester to lead quality assurance activities for Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Electronic Health Record (EHR) platforms. You will ensure that clinical workflows, data integrity, and system interoperability meet the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute functional, integration, regression, and user‑acceptance test scenarios for EMR/EHR applications.
• Validate end‑to‑end clinical workflows such as patient registration, encounters, prescriptions, lab orders, documentation, and discharge processes.
• Test interoperability with external systems using HL7, FHIR, DICOM, and API integrations.
• Perform data validation to guarantee accuracy of patient records and clinical data.
• Collaborate with clinicians, product owners, analysts, and developers to clarify requirements and identify test cases early in the SDLC.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and security standards, report defects, track resolutions, and support root‑cause analysis.
• Assist with UAT, production validation, and release activities.

Required profile

• 7–12 years of experience testing EMR/EHR platforms.
• Strong understanding of healthcare workflows and clinical operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Healthcare Informatics or a related field.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HL7, FHIR, DICOM, ICD‑10, CPT, SNOMED, LOINC standards.
• API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger.
• SQL for database validation.
• Agile/Scrum methodology experience.
• Test management tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
