Senior QA Automation Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to lead the quality engineering strategy for our enterprise SaaS banking platform, designing scalable automation frameworks and embedding quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the quality engineering and automation strategy.
• Design scalable automation frameworks for UI, APIs, backend services and integrations.
• Integrate automated quality gates into CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead API, database, event‑driven and end‑to‑end testing.
• Improve performance, resilience and scalability through continuous testing.
• Establish quality metrics and engineering best practices.
• Mentor engineers and promote a culture of engineering excellence.
• Explore AI‑driven approaches to enhance quality engineering.

Required profile

• 6–9 years of experience in quality engineering, thinking like a software engineer.
• Proven ability to design and build scalable automation frameworks.
• Collaborative mindset with experience mentoring teams and influencing best practices.
• Background in global product companies, fintech, banking technology or high‑growth SaaS organizations.

Required skills

• Selenium, Playwright, Cypress (or similar automation tools).
• API automation with Rest Assured or Postman.
• SQL and backend validation.
• CI/CD integration using Azure DevOps, Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Performance testing, Kafka/event‑driven systems.
• Cloud‑native experience on Azure and Kubernetes.
