Senior Python & Generative AI Developer

About the role

We are looking for a senior Python and Generative AI developer to lead the design and development of enterprise‑grade applications for Bosch’s VM ST team in Bangalore. The role involves shaping architecture, optimizing code performance, and mentoring a team of Python engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimise Python scripts for scalability, memory usage and speed.
• Mentor and groom a team of Python developers, providing technical guidance and code reviews.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional and geographically distributed teams to deliver solutions.
• Manage stakeholder expectations, communicate progress and address challenges independently.

Required profile

• 6‑8 years of professional Python development experience.
• Proven track record of leading and mentoring development teams.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Python (including advanced features and performance optimisation).
• Generative AI concepts and implementation.
• Version control systems such as Git and Bitbucket.
• Agile methodologies, Scrum experience.
• Design patterns, scalable architecture design.
• Multithreading / concurrent programming.
• Data structures, algorithms, STL.
• MATLAB (optional).
