Senior Product Manager, AI Search & Retrieval

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the retrieval and search layer of our AI‑driven legal information platform. Based in Bangalore, you will work closely with an India‑based engineering team and report to the global product organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end product outcomes for the retrieval, indexing and ranking components that feed AI answer generation (RAG).
• Define and defend core trade‑offs such as precision vs. recall, coverage vs. noise, and speed vs. accuracy.
• Champion explainable, source‑attributed AI experiences for high‑stakes professional users.
• Establish metrics for answer and retrieval quality, combining quantitative signals (engagement, click‑through, session depth, ratings) with qualitative analysis.
• Shape product vision, roadmap and business cases aligned with market opportunities and financial goals.
• Lead cross‑functional planning, write precise specifications and negotiate technical decisions directly with engineers.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex AI‑enabled products, preferably in search or retrieval domains.
• Strong ability to operate in ambiguity, make data‑driven decisions and balance customer value with commercial impact.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate product strategy to global stakeholders.
